Launched in 2018 in partnership with IMDbPro, the ReFrame Stamp is an industry-wide mark of distinction for film and television projects that demonstrate a commitment to gender equity.

No matter the genre or the scale of film you’re making, you can prioritize hiring women, and you can build a gender-balanced crew and get the Stamp.

With our third party data partners, ReFrame collects and analyzes data on a number of key roles for each eligible project.

In the evaluated categories, we are tracking ‘qualifying candidates,’ which includes women, non-binary and other gender-non conforming people, and trans people of all genders including those that hold multiple gender identities.

In individual categories, qualifying candidates who are white earn one point towards the total needed to get the stamp. Qualifying candidates who are BIPOC earn two points.

All productions must earn a minimum of 2 points in the first evaluation step to advance to the second. To earn the Stamp, productions must earn at least 4 total points.

Productions that earn the Stamp receive permission to add the logo to their promotional materials, IMDb page, and end credits, communicating to audiences the production’s commitment to inclusive hiring.
