Hiring Databases: Film Fatales Members

Film Fatales is a non profit which advocates for parity in the film industry and supports an inclusive community of hundreds of women and non-binary feature film and television directors nationwide.

Founded by Leah Meyerhoff in 2013, Film Fatales has expanded to include over 500 women directors in Los Angeles and New York, and hundreds more in a dozen cities around the world. Film Fatales advocates for gender equality within the film industry by hosting panel discussions, educational workshops, networking events and screening series to promote the work of women filmmakers to a wider audience.

Film Fatales membership is open to filmmakers of all marginalized genders who have directed or co-directed at least one scripted or unscripted feature film (over 70 minutes) or television episode (over 30 minutes) which has been publicly released in theaters, on television, SVOD, or at a film festival.

With a robust, vetted database of 500+ women and non-binary directors, Film Fatales is an incredible resource to get connected to talent that may not have representation. The Film Fatales programming team, through their Parity Pipeline initiative and year-round programming, are tapped into a vibrant, ever-growing community of directing talent and eager to share recommendations for talent with industry professionals.
