WIF Help Line

Since December 2017, the WIF Help Line has provided access to legal and mental health support to entertainment workers who have experienced sexual harassment, misconduct, and assault. The #MeToo movement profoundly impacted Hollywood. Thanks to the efforts of brave survivors, the industry is transforming. With the support of entertainment leaders and changemakers, we can build a more equitable, safe, and sustainable entertainment industry for all.

Support for sexual harassment and misconduct.

People often ask ‘Are people still calling? Have we ended harassment?’ Well, sadly, the answer’s no. Our call line has actually doubled in the last few months. Callers are experiencing harassment and discrimination on sets and offices, and they need support right now.

WIF developed the Help Line in response to the needs of our community. Our trauma-informed Advocates understand the unique needs and concerns of workers in entertainment. We offer resources and support, including referrals to pro bono legal services, low-fee therapy, and free support groups, to anyone who has experienced sexual harassment or misconduct while working in the entertainment industry.

The WIF Help Line takes calls from across the country, and referral services currently serve California, New York, and Georgia.
